The exterior of Cavell's is easily overlooked, as it blends in with the shops on the High Street. Inside there is a cafe-style area at the front, changing into a pub-like feel as you move towards the back. When food is being served, all service is at the table, and this adds to the laid back, continental feel of the place.

Absolutely appalling service and arrogant manager. Very rude.
We ordered 3 breakfasts and each one came out with 10 minutes between. And if you would like your sandwich bread buttered then expect to be charged 20p!
When we complained the manager's response was "these things happen" and offered no apology.
In the current climate I feel that the manager needs to be very careful and maybe address his manner.
