I should have known better. Before entering the Hare & Hounds pub at Dore the smell of ancient frying oil wafting over the car park should have warned me about the horrors served up inside.
Eight rock hard bullets with 'something' lurking inside and 'curly chips'. Straight from the freezer. I never learn. Keep hoping that Brits will learn about food!
I think it was the vilest meal I have ever been served in any pub anywhere.

This pub used to until the last few years, be a really good pub, good service, food but it has gone completely downhill.
We went there in the last month twice. The first time we had to wait over an hour for our food despite the pub not being all that busy and only us eating. The second time we went the same thing happened. In fact we had to wait even longer for our food. We have three children under four and found it difficult to entertain them. It is not usually a problem, as we are usually out of the pub within an hour but two hours in the pub is ridiculous. Suffice to say we wont' be coming back.
