Funeral party held on July 19th at The Old Red Lion, Grenoside. Thank you for making everything run smoothly. The selection of food was very good and the hot chips were lovely. A big thank you to all the staff - very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend.

My girlfriend and I have eaten here several times. Always found the food to be good and reasonably priced. There can be a bit of a wait for food but this is usually because it's busy. Would rate 4/5.

Went for a meal here. My wife went to the toilet and caught her jeans on a nail that was sticking out of a handrail, which tore a hole in the jeans. She complained and was told to put it in writing, which she did, and sent it off to the pub. Some 3 months later and still no reply. What a good way to run a business. Definitely avoid. Even the food was poor, which I would think is a reflection of the pub.

I have used this restaurant frequently since it opened and always found the food and service excellent, but I do feel the time has come for a change to the menu.

The presentation of the food was excellent, as was the taste and quality.
The staff were very attentive, friendly and obliging. Nothing was too much trouble.

I personally find the Old Red Lion a very friendly local pub. It's a pub where you can enjoy a quiet drink or enjoy a lively night out on the weekend. I found the bar staff very helpful, friendly and efficient. It's also quite a family orientated pub and the location set in the countryside is very beautiful.
I would recommend this pub to people of all ages you wont be disappointed.
