Lovely family pub. Nice bar staff, so polite always smiling. And they have great DJs in there as well. And its a nice, friendly pub as well.

What's happened to this pub? Oh dear. Food used to be top notch and always a lovely, friendly barmaid, but all that's gone.
Won't be going again.

Fantastic meals. Very good value for money and lovely, friendly staff. Will definitely call again when in the area. Thank you.

Cracking pub, good beer, food and hospitality from the landlords and staff. Thanks again from all the North Wales Crusaders rugby fans.

Called in for a pint on Wednesday, as Rangers played at Hillsborough.
Many thanks to Barry and all his staff for being a fine host and making us all welcome, and all his customers who entered into banter and football talk with us away supporters.
A quick pint or two turned into 5 hours and we even returned after the game.
Many thanks and I hope you make us as welcome if the Rangers are down to play the Owls again.

Located on Penistone Road next to Owlerton stadium, it is very easy to get to on local transport etc... I recommend the pop quiz on Thursday nights, it is music right across the 'pop spectrum', free to play and £12.00 to the winner! There is also "Alan's play your cards right" afterwards, the winner took home nearly £500 the other week.
