The Park pub is located at Wadsley Lane in Hillsborough.
Sizzling Pubs is pleased to announce the arrival of the new look Park pub in Sheffield following an extensive two-week refurbishment, creating five new jobs for the local area.
Located on Wadsley Lane, the refurbished Park Sizzling Pub & Grill opened to guests on Wednesday 1st March when former Sheffield Wednesday striker, John Pearson, officially reopened the pub.
Following its relaunch, the team at The Park pub & grill, situated just a stone's throw away from Hillsborough stadium, are pledging to support Sheffield Wednesday's Community Programme. They will be raising funds for the organisation's three peaks challenge, with a variety of events and activities planned to drum up support.
The pub now sports a brand-new look and feel so guests can enjoy the Park's expansive menu in comfort, starting with a quality breakfast menu that offers unlimited tea and filter coffee for just £1. The pub will continue to sell its celebrated sizzling skillets with 21-day aged prime steaks, which can now be topped with one of six tasty steak toppers.
Speaking about the new Park Sizzling Pub and Grill, general manager, Natalie Briggs, comments: "Bringing the new look Sizzling Pub & Grill to Sheffield is really exciting for the whole team. At Sizzling Pub & Grill, we want to offer good value for all our guests and we're thrilled to be providing Sheffield with a new pub with great tasting food.
"The pub has been given a fantastic new look showcasing some great products, especially with its extensive menu which lets guests experience pub favourites from the UK and around the world.
"We're so happy that John was able to come down to reopen the pub for us and we're so excited to get to work and help Sheffield Wednesday's Community Programme. The work they do for Sheffield and its community is fantastic and we have plenty of great ideas on how we can support their efforts.
"We're also so thrilled to be able to give back to our loyal regulars, providing them with a fantastic pub where they can always enjoy a warm welcome and great atmosphere."
Following the refurbishment, the Park will continue to look to support the local community with a calendar of fundraising initiatives throughout the year.

Seven of us went for a Christmas meal on Sunday 19th Dec 2021. Only two of us had the Christmas dinner. It was the worst meal I've ever tasted. The roast potatoes were white and uncooked, the bit I tasted was terrible, it left a vile taste in my mouth.
If this pub can't cook a decent meal other than ding food then they should stick to selling beer only.

Recently had a meal there with my partner. The drinks were spot on, and the food was lovely. Third time for going there, as we always get value for our money, and the service was spot on. Will recommend to family and friends.

Just started using The Park as my local. Can't fault it. Best food and atmosphere I've witnessed in a long time. Can't get enough, love it!

Don't bother. Waited 8 minutes to get served. Nobody serving at bar, then a workman came in and she jumped up to serve him. Then she said "wait a minute", as she was on her phone flirting with about 6 builders. Service a big zero, so walked down to Hillsborough corner and had meals and drinks. £45 spent.
We will not call again. You have been warned!

My husband and I had 2 lovely meals on Tuesday 8th March.
I had the Hunters Chicken, which came on skillet, with seasoned chips, salad, and the other meal, peri peri chicken on skewers with lovely salad and chips, coleslaw. Plenty of food for cost.
The refurbishment is lovely and fresh, with new carpet, upholstery seating. Will return, with thanks to Ruth, who really looked after us.

This pub was nothing special. The food was really boring. I had the burger, which was just a burger between two pieces of white bap with nothing else. The chips were tasteless. I would not go again.

This is a Mitchells & Butlers house that only survives due to the close proximity to the football ground. If it wasn't for the profit made from match days (profit can exceed probably 1 weeks taking) then the management wouldn't be in place. They have zero people skills and make every effort for paying customers with children to feel uncomfortable.
We once (and last) had a big family meal, including 3 children. The landlady went out of her way to make us feel we should not be in a pub with children! She was beyond rude, which she caused a big scene in the pub itself, whilst we were eating desert that we need to be out of the pub - 7PM and off the premises by 8PM. That day we vowed as a family never to set foot in that place again! I will NOT part with a single penny of our family's hard earned cash to that lady and her husband. The way we was spoke to that day was truly vile. And to say they have children themselves I find utterly bizarre! In this day and age I do not understand how these pubs can survive in this current climate... disgusting and very behind the times. (Well this is the only pub that works this way, that I have ever come across.)
We now all go to a family friendly local pub for family meals, get togethers and such like.
Also, as the above post states there are no high chairs or children's menus available, like you would expect from a newly revamped public house.
It is clear to see that they get paid a set wage as we're all aware the pub industry is in decline and much focus has gone onto the food and make the place a "family friendly environment" but unfortunately this public house hasn't moved with the times. This is unfortunate, as the pub is ideally placed within Hillsborough and has the opportunity to make a pleasant place for both families and football fans.

Good beer, especially the cask EPA. They often have a raffle on the weekend (only need to buy a drink to get a ticket).
The food is however a little disappointing. Mixed grill for around £7, which comes with a drink such as a pint, coffee etc... Chicken didn't resemble chicken, some sort of re-formed chicken. Sausages also similar, processed. Chips good, steak not too bad, pork processed too?! Not great considering the price. Puddings nuked in microwave!
Shame, as the beer is good, but food is not. Would pay around £3 for similar in a low end greasy spoon.

Nothing about this pub is "family friendly". They simply do not like children being in this pub, there are no high chairs available, no kids' drinks, no children's menu and they have to order a meal even if everyone else in the party is eating!
The staff are all so rude too, instead of just asking politely. Being a manger at a pub myself I would never let my staff be so rude to the customers and chatting behind the bar instead of serving.
Even though I live on the same road as this pub I will never go in again, with or without my child and I advise other people to steer well clear too!
