1 Review of Cross Scythes:

A strange but nice pub. It's got the older sections that have been kept and newer modern decor in places. There is a very large function/music room and good atmosphere overall.

The beers are predominantly Thornbridge, but guest ales are available all the time. The food is very good, too. The staff could be a little sharper but they're not overly bad.

It does have a reasonably high "hipster" quotient though, so if you don't want to see badly-dressed beardy, student types talking loudly about crap then perhaps go elsewhere (only at weekends though).

I really like the quirkiness of this place.
