1 Review of British Oak:

  • Mr Ward

We booked a table for eight people on the 8th February for a birthday surprise. We were told to look at the menu online, but on arrival at the pub we were then told it was an old menu.

Three of us ordered the steak pie (unfortunately). The pies had been well overcooked and really required a saw to get into. We found the service to be very poor. We also ordered one sweet. Fifteen minutes later we asked again and were told this had been forgotten.

Probably find better food and service in Wetherspoons. Not a very happy birthday treat.
