News for Pearl at Park Hill:
We have added a new listing for The Pearl at Park Hill, located at 8 Pat Midgley Lane in Park Hill, just outside of Sheffield city centre.
The Pearl at Park Hill is a gem of a bar, nestled within the iconic Park Hill flats, Europe's largest listed building and a symbol of Sheffield's rich industrial history. Following the success of Bench in Nether Edge, Jack and Ronnie present their second venture, which opened its doors in September 2023.
This sophisticated establishment is their visionary take on a 21st-century "local", a place that not only pays homage to the city's cultural roots but also embraces the contemporary. As the only restaurant in Sheffield to be ranked among the Top 50 cocktail bars in the UK, The Pearl at Park Hill promises an unparalleled experience, seamlessly blending seasonal, ever-changing cocktails, craft beer, and natural wine with delectable bar food.
Occupying part of the historic Park Hill flats, which once housed four pubs catering to the city's steelworkers, The Pearl at Park Hill recognises the immense cultural significance of its location. Today over 2,000 residents call Park Hill home, and the venue offers a unique and welcoming space for the community, the city, and beyond.
Part of a larger project in collaboration with Urban Splash & Places for People, The Pearl at Park Hill aims to not only be a bar but a cultural hub, celebrating Sheffield's heritage and forging connections with its vibrant present. The interior design reflects a commitment to sustainability, seamlessly integrating the existing brutalist structure as the canvas for the establishment's distinctive pearlescent identity.
