The Hotel was built in 1903 and has just undergone a major refurbishment to bring the hotel back to its former glory. Whether you are visiting the area for walking, cycling, business or pleasure you are assured of a warm welcome at our family-run hotel.
Praised by CAMRA for its sympathetic restoration in 2015 The Friendship is a thriving pub in the centre of Stocksbridge. It stocks a good selection of beers, cask ales and spirits and has sky sports and regular live music.
Both the main lounges have open fires and provide a warm and welcoming place to wind down after a day of exploring the area.

Great pub, very friendly staff, great people, made many friends in this pub. Magic atmosphere - used to visit every other weekend. Drove from North East of Scotland for a night out in this pub will visit again soon. Hi to all the local people who use this pub.
