We have just bought a house in Bransby Street (just round the corner from the Blake) especially to be near this absolutely wonderful pub. Brilliant range of very interesting draught beer, wonderful selection of spirits, brilliant staff, lovely garden. No TV, electronic games or other extraneous noise. Extremely friendly customers and that is from a southern softy who lives near Brighton and most importantly Ricky the racing whippet just loves it in there, I can't keep him away. Probably the best proper pub in Sheffield.
