The Miners Arms was bought from Thwaites brewery on 17th October 2014 by a group of local residents. It offers real ales on draught, one of which is usually from Bradfield Brewery, plus a number of bottled beers.
Food is available, with all food being prepared on site by chef Allen.

The Miners Arms pub on Warren Lane in Chapeltown is to reopen under new management on Wednesday 4th September. Food will be served Tuesday to Sunday.
Despite opposition from local residents, the Miners Arms pub in Chapeltown has been granted an extended alcohol licence. The pub will be allowed to serve until Midnight on Monday to Thursday, until 1AM on Friday and Saturday, and until 11PM on Sunday. Half an hour drinking up time will apply each day. They were also granted permission for live entertainment until 11:30PM Monday to Friday and until 10:30PM on Sunday.
