In the shadow of the magnificent St. John's Ranmoor church, the Ranmoor Inn dates from the early 1800s when it was home to the local hackney carriage service. The original stable yard is now used as an outside drinking area. The pub remains very traditional, well known for its range of cask ales, wines, lunchtime homemade pies, floral displays and relaxed atmosphere. Thursday at 10PM is quiz time and Saturday evening is piano time.

Brilliant friendly pub. Great craic and dogs welcome. We love it!

Used to be a lovely local pub but sadly not any more. Went in on Saturday night expecting a convivial pint but found a near empty pub with a disco, complete with flashing lights, which drowned out conversation. Finished my pint and moved on. Tragic ruination of a once great local.

While out on a long walk with the dog, popped in for a drink. Very nice staff came out with water & treats for the dog. Made us feel very welcome. Will come back.

A lovely, friendly pub, offering a traditional Sheffield welcome, situated approximately 3 miles from the city centre by St John's church at Ranmoor on the main road through to Fulwood.
The Ranmoor Inn offers a small, but interesting and delicious menu and a nice choice of hand-pulled beers. The bar staff along with Vanessa the licensee are all guaranteed to make you feel at home and very welcome.
This is by far one of my favourite pubs in my home city and I would recommend anyone to call in there for lunch, a pint of real ale whilst reading a selection of national and local papers put out in the pub every day.
Brilliant!
